Stuff the egg bit by bit & shape your egg in your hand. Make it nice and plump, more pointed at the top and wider at the base.

Cut yarn leaving a long tail and thread with a tapestry needle. Pass the needle through the front loop of the 6 remaining stitches and gather to close the hole at the base of the egg.
Weave in the yarn ends.
